Lost foam casting sand is a spherical particle with good permeability, high refractive index, low crushing rate, and less dust. Currently, it is used by many foundries.

1. Main chemical composition: Al2O3≥70-75% Fe2O3 ≤5% TiO2 ≤5% SiO25%-20% Others: trace

2. Particle shape: spherical;

3. Angular coefficient: ≤1.1, very spherical;

4. Density (bulk density): 1.95-2.05 (g/cm3);

5. Refractoriness: ≥1790℃;

6. Thermal conductivity: 5.27W/M•K (1200℃);

7. Thermal expansion coefficient: 0.13% (heating at 1000℃ for 10 minutes).

Advantages

1. The molding sand is close to a true circle, with a smooth surface, good fluidity and filling properties, easy to punch, and can obtain good formability and mold strength.

2. Good disintegration, easy to clean sand. The amount of binder used is much less than other similar sands.
